ANNOUNCEMENT TO PASSENGERS

ANNOUNCEMENT TO PASSENGERS

Dear passengers,

(This announcement has been corrected with the latest one from 14.6.2021)

We would like to share some great news with you 
According to the latest decision of the German authorities, the Republic of N. Macedonia is no longer on the list of countries determined as Covid-19 risk areas, which means that Macedonian citizens starting from 13th June, 00:00 o’clock (from midnight tonight), can travel to Germany for tourism reasons, by presenting a negative Covid-19 test or vaccination proof.

Regarding the types of Covid-19 tests recognized by Germany, we would like to remind you that as a condition for boarding an aircraft the country requires either a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours before arrival, or a negative rapid antigen test not older than 48 hours before arrival. Test results should be in one of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian or Spanish. The test request does not apply to children up to 6 years old.
Or, if the passenger is vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by Germany (Astra Zeneca, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer BionNTech), at least 14 days after receiving the second dose, there is no need to do one of the listed Covid-19 tests.
Also, with the removal of N.Macedonia from the list of risk countries by Germany, it is no longer necessary for passengers to have filled in an electronic Passenger Locator Form before boarding a plane, as it was before.
As a reminder, air travel to Germany for Macedonian citizens, since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic until now was possible only for essential reasons of travel, defined by the German authorities, where passengers were required to present the relevant documents / evidence of their essential travel.
We wish you pleasant travels
