TAV: From tomorrow - new seasonal route Skopje-Izmir

Two airlines, Pegasus and Sunexpress, will fly on the same route from June to October

A new seasonal route Skopje-Izmir starts as of tomorrow, June 2nd 2022, which will connect the Macedonian capital with one of the Turkish touristic pearls on the Aegean Sea, reports TAV Macedonia.
The two airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Sunexpress, will fly on this route throughout the summer season, from early June to late October.
"We are pleased for the launch of this seasonal route between Skopje and Izmir, as one of the main touristic centers of Turkey, to which there has been no direct air connection so far. Izmir is an attractive destination for Macedonian citizens, both for leisure and business, as it is the third largest city in Turkey where the most important export seaport is located and where numerous trade fairs are held. We are confident that this route will contribute to increasing the number of tourists, as well as strengthening the economic cooperation between the two countries. With such a potential, we hope that in the future it can become a regular air route throughout the whole year,", stated Metin Batak, TAV Macedonia General Manager.
Pegasus starts with flying on the route Skopje-Izmir as of tomorrow, June 2nd and they’ll fly until October 27th  every Thursday, with the arrival time at Skopje International Airport at 2:20 p.m. and the departure for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 3:20 p.m.; as well as every Sunday, with  arrival in Skopje at 9:55 a.m. and departure for Izmir at 10:45 a.m.
Sunexpress will start flying on the same route on June 12th and they will fly until October 2nd every Sunday with arrival time at Skopje International Airport at 1:35 a.m. and departure for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 2:25 a.m.
