According to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia https://www.vlada.mk/node/25667 for amending the Decision on preventive recommendations, interim measures, ordered measures, targeted protocols, plans and algorithms for protecting the health of the population from COVID-19 virus Sars-Cov-2, the cases and the time period of their application (published in the Official Gazette of the RNM no. 139 from 23.06.2021, there is an amendment to the Protocols of TAV Macedonia for management of the two airports during a pandemic.
This change means that the entrance into the public zone of the terminal building at both airports is unrestricted for all persons: passengers, escorts, persons, meters and greeters, airport staff and other service providers which have necessity to entry into the terminal building.
Accordingly, starting from today, June 25, 2021 at 00:01, the terminal building of Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Apostle Paul Airport will be open for entrance to all persons.
From the beginning of the pandemic until now, only passengers with flight tickets were allowed to enter the terminal buildings of both airports, while the entry for their meters and greeters was not allowed.
Reminder: Please respect the preventive measures against Covid-19 that are applied in the terminal buildings of both airports:
• Wear a protective mask constantly.
• Maintain the prescribed physical distance.
• Disinfect your hands often.
• Practice contactless technologies to complete airport procedures.
• Do not enter the terminal building if you have symptoms of illness.
