TAV Macedonia and TAV Airports Volunteers Prepare 170 Food Packages for Homeless People Within ‘TAV Cooks’ Initiative
Ahead of World Homeless Day, TAV Macedonia and TAV Airports employees united around a shared mission: bringing hope for those who need it most. Through TAV Macedonia's humanitarian initiative ‘TAV Cooks’, and within TAV Airports’ ‘Hope on Board’ corporate volunteering program, employees, volunteers, prepared 170 food packages for the beneficiaries of the Momin Potok Homeless Shelter Center, operated by the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Red Cross of the City of Skopje. The initiative reflects the airport operator’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through meaningful volunteer engagement and social solidarity.
The activity brought together colleagues from TAV Airports with a common goal: to provide practical support and solidarity with people facing difficult life circumstances. More than preparing food packages, the volunteers shared their time, care, and compassion, demonstrating how collective action can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
“As an airport operator, our role extends beyond connecting destinations. We are equally committed to contributing to the well-being of the communities we serve. Through ‘TAV Cooks’ initiative and within TAV Airports’ corporate volunteering program ‘Hope on Board’, we are sending a message that solidarity, compassion, and care can help improve lives and strengthen communities. We are proud to once again partner with the Red Cross and support the beneficiaries of the Momin Potok Homeless Shelter Center. The volunteer activity was organized in the spirit of World Homeless Day, marked annually on October 10, reaffirming TAV Macedonia's longstanding commitment to supporting vulnerable social groups through sustainable and impactful corporate social responsibility programs.
